It happened. Stopped all hillside projects. It happens. Stop all hillside projects. It will happen. Stop all hillsides projects. How many times have we heard of these? My sincere condolences to all those affected by the recent tragedy at Bukit Antarabangsa. What next? But first thing first. Who is to be blame? The hill shifted so has the government's responsibility. They do no wrong so they say. Got money beres. They are quick to blame mother nature. Poor mother nature she cannot fight back.
We cannot blame the goverment entirely. Individual land owners and the major culprit, the developers must share the blame too! They think of profits, profits and more profits! What's wrong with giving a paltry amount to you know who and be given the approval to develope a hillside. Got money beres.
Now we shift our attention to our elected representatives, our beloved MPs. They looked concerned. Are they really? Sometimes I really wonder. Of course there are some who are really concern. To these few I say thank you and to the others I wish them good luck in the next election! Can we shift our attention again? This time to my place where I'm staying. A few years back when a developer wanted to develope the hill, albeit a small one, the authority concerned placed a notice board telling us to give our opinions. We duly obliged. We objected. We pleaded. We lost. So now the hill is being develope. Trees were chopped. Soil erosions aplenty. As usual we can only pray and hope nothing untoward happens. Got money beres.
